The ultra innovative chef, David Muñoz, truts our brands Dekton, Silestone and Scalea for his restaurant.
David Muñoz, granted with 3 Michelín stars, is a creative and over-demanding chef. That is why, for his new restaurant DiverXO, signed by the well-known designer Álvaro Rosa-Violán, he had trusted on the Cosentino products for the countertops, walls and floors, due to its excellent performance.
Flying pigs, silver ants and colorful butterflies fill the place with fantasy. Entering the XO World is living an unbeatable experience, so the choice of materials was carefully made. Specifically they chose the ultracompact surface Dekton, quartz surface Silestone and white marble form Macael from our brand Scalea.
Dekton is used at the reception desk, the central showcooking area and the service trays, as well as in the kitchen for the countertops, walls and floors. Silestone White Zeus is the main character at the dinning area, as it is used in the 17 tables that create the exclusive and singular space. Silestone is also found in the kitchen skirting, but in color Aluminio Nube. Lastly, the beauty of Natural Stone in its purest form is placed in the toilets of the restaurant DiverXO, where both walls and floors, as well as the customized sinks, had been made with white marble from Macael, part of Scalea by Cosentino.
The chef claims “what I like from these products is the sense of infinity they produce. If you look at them, the tables of Silestone, and the central area, countertops and walls in Dekton, they all give a feeling of infinity. Something that does not end. And that is after all the concept of the experience in DiverXO: it is a roller coaster in which you jump in, in shakes you off… You know when you get in, but do not know when you are getting out… In fact, you can even leave the restaurant, and you’ll still be in it”.
