Nathan Montgomery and his family, the recipients of a home built by volunteers in just one week in
Philo, Illinois, were featured on the fifth episode of Season 7 of Extreme Makeover: Home Edition
that aired last night on ABC.
Cosentino®, the maker of Silestone® quartz countertops, joined with Extreme Makeover: Home Edition to
provide countertop surfaces, fabrication and installation services for the Montgomery family home.
With hands-on involvement from Carstin Brands of Illinois at the Montgomery build site, Cosentino donated
Silestone® quartz for a kitchen Kitchen Island, Master Bathroom, Laundry Room and Boys and Girls Bath
countertops, custom-fitting and installation services as part of the construction and furnishing of the
Montgomery family home. Cosentino provided Silestone in the colors Sonora Gold, Grey Expo, Black Canyon,
Stellar Rose and Koan for countertops in the Montgomery home. They were the first of three color
preferences that the Extreme Makeover: Home Edition designers considered for each room.
