On July 10, “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition” travels to Lancaster, Texas, to meet Carlton Marshall who lost most of his mobility and all of his hearing after being shot while leading a Dallas Police Department SWAT team. Carlton and his wife Susan, a homicide detective, will learn that their home will be rebuilt in seven days – solving rampant structural and accessibility issues and also enabling the Marshalls to continue their long-time volunteer work with a horseback riding therapy program for children and adults with mental and physical challenges.
Cosentino®, the maker of Silestone® quartz countertops has joined with Extreme Makeover: Home Edition to provide countertop surfaces, fabrication and installation services for the Marshall family home. With hands-on involvement from J.R. Tops at the Marshall build site, Cosentino donated Silestone® quartz Kitchen, Master Bath, Therapy Room, Laundry, Hall Bath and Study Countertops, custom-fitting and installation services as part of the construction and furnishing of the Marshall family home. Cosentino provided Silestone in the color Tigris Sand, Grey Expo, Gedatsu and Tea Leaf for countertops in the Marshall home. It was the first of three color choices the Extreme Makeover: Home Edition designers considered.
